New Online Registration Details



What is it?

What to do?
If you have a Parent Portal account, simply follow the directions in the email you may have already received from the school system. If you do not have a Parent Portal account, come by the school office beginning July 19th between 9am and 3pm to get directions on setting up your account. Once you have a Parent Portal account you will be able to complete the online registration from the comfort of your own living room.
Please do not come by the school prior to July 19th as our office staff does not return to work until then, and we are still waxing floors in the front of the building.
How we can help...
You may attend any of the four open registration sessions at the Floyd County Board of Education and get assistance in completing the registration process. You may also use a Chromebook or our Computer Lab at AMS at either the New Student Orientation (July 30th, 10:30am) or Open House/Meet and Greet (August 6th, 5:30pm) to complete this process.
This is a new process for everyone, so we will work through it together. This process will prevent parents/guardians from filling out multiple forms at the beginning of the school year, and it will provide schools with the most current and accurate student information so we can better serve your students and keep them safe at school.  We appreciate your cooperation and your patience with this process.
