Water bottles permitted on buses due to heat advisory

The National Weather Service has declared a heat advisory that is in effect until August 13, 2019, at 8 p.m. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will create heat index readings of at least 105 degrees and very warm overnight temperatures. They recommend that everyone Wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing when possible and to drink plenty of water. Because of this, we will be allowing students who ride our school buses to bring a bottle of water on the bus with them to help aid with heat exhaustion. Please note that the bottle must be able to be sealed shut to avoid any spills or messes. Thank you in helping us keep our students hydrated and safe!
