Sydney Fuller, Deana Spranza to lead Football Spirit Cheer
Two PHS graduates have been named to take over the football spirit cheer program at Pepperell High. Sydney Fuller (Class of 2016) has been named the Head Football Spirit Cheer Coach, while Deana Spranza (Class of 1994) has been named her assistant. Mrs. Fuller, who also teaches math and coaches track at PHS, says that she is "so excited to become involved with Football Cheer and the wonderful group of athletes and leaders that it entails." Coach Spranza, who coaches the Lady Dragons Soccer Team and is the PHS attendance clerk/student services, is "thrilled to become involved with the Football Cheer program and the amazing student-athletes at PHS."
Quote from Pepperell High Principal Jason Kouns:
I am extremely excited about having these two coaches work with our Spirit Cheer Team. Each has experience working with high school student-athletes, and I have no question that their enthusiasm and love of all things Pepperell will ensure that Friday Nights in Dragon Stadium become a fun experience for all in attendance! #DragonsRising
Quote from Pepperell High Athletic Director Rick Hurst:
Dragon Stadium is a special place to be on Friday nights. Coach Fuller and Coach Spranza will add energy and excitement to our Spirit Cheer program. I look forward to working with them both this season and beyond.
