Mrs. Kristen Martin

As a new member of the Floyd County School System, Mrs. Martin is thrilled to be joining the excellent team here at Coosa High School!  She spent the first part of her career serving the Bartow area as a math teacher at Adairsville High School (11 years), Assistant Principal at Clear Creek Elementary School (2 years), and Assistant Principal at Cass High School (4 years).  The transition to Eagle Nation has been seamless, and Mrs. Martin is honored to have received such a warm welcome in the Coosa community.

Mrs. Martin grew up just down the road in Bartow County and is a proud member of the very first graduating class of Woodland High School.  She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Mathematics from Shorter College before pursuing both a Masters (Math Ed.) and a Specialist (Teaching & Learning) from Piedmont College, followed by an additional Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Berry College.  Mrs. Martin and her husband Matt are the proud parents of two sons who both attend Cass High: Tyler (senior, age 17) and AJ (sophomore, age 15).
