Welcome to Armuchee Middle School!
Mr. Chad Moore is entering his 5th year as principal of Armuchee Middle School. This is his 17th year in education, serving as a teacher and administrator for 12 years at the middle and elementary levels in Gordon County prior to coming to AMS.
Mr. Patrick Hopper is entering his 1st year as assistant prinicpal at AMS. Mr. Hopper has previously served as an elementary teacher, an assistant principal at Coosa Middle School, and an assistant principal at Model Elementary School. We are excited to welcome Mr. Hopper to AMS and his experience at both the elementary and middle school levels will be extremely valuable as AMS prepares to transition to a 3rd-6th grade campus in the near future.
Mrs. Cauprice Clance is in her 2nd year as counselor at AMS. Mrs. Clance has served in a similar role in Gordon County for 5 years and is very excited about getting to know our new students and serving the students, parents, and staff at AMS.
As the administration of Armuchee Middle School, we believe in:
- Creating a culture where students feel safe, loved, and valued.
- Helping our students become better learners AND better people.
- Modeling the behaviors and attitudes we expect from our students.
- Putting others first and serving those around us.
- Establishing respectful, transparent, and supportive relationships with parents.
We are blessed to have an amazing staff that understands the importance of building meaningful relationships with students in addition to providing quality instruction. We want AMS to be the school where every kid wants to attend and the school that every parent wants their kid to attend. We welcome any feedback that will help us achieve that goal.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions, concerns, or suggestions for how we can better serve our students and community.
