Welcome to Floyd Virtual Academy!  My name is Celena Arrington. I'm excited to serve as the Director of Online Learning and Innovation for Floyd County Schools. This is my twentieth year in education. I graduated from Shorter College with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in December 2002. In May 2009, I graduated with a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Lesley University. Next, I earned a Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning from Piedmont College in December 2010. I earned my School Library Media Certification from the University of West Georgia in December 2012. In 2021, I earned a degree in Educational Leadership from the University of West Georgia. Prior to this position, I taught various levels in elementary and middle school and served as a school library media specialist. I look forward to working with you and your student in Floyd Virtual Academy this school year.
