- I am a parent of a Coosa High School freshman I have been involved in the Coosa area schools for over 15 years. I have served the LSGT at several schools during that period.
I enjoy being a part of my son’s school life and serving the schools of Floyd County. Local School Governance plays an important part of decision making that will maximize educational opportunities for all children and I am proud to be a part of it and would like to continue to serve.

- I'm a mother of four children that all attend school in Floyd County School District, with two at Coosa High School. As a college graduate working and serving in our local community, I feel it is important to also be involved in the school community as well. I would like to serve as a parent representative because I want to work with the school and local community on organizing and facilitating educational plans to improve all students continued growth and achievements. I believe good planning, monitoring and evaluation of school processes and practices are important. In addition, working together with school officials and the community providing great ideas and support, is valuable in setting all kids up for success.
