What We Do
The School Operations Division is dedicated to the development, implementation, and ongoing management of system-wide resources and services that enhance the educational experience for all students within the Floyd County School System.
Our core mission is to ensure the provision of essential supports—including nutritious meals, safe and reliable transportation, well-constructed and properly maintained facilities, cutting-edge technology, and a secure, supportive learning environment.
We are committed to delivering the assistance necessary for our principals, teachers, students, and families, working collaboratively to ensure that every aspect of the school system functions efficiently and without disruption.

Our team is responsible for key operational areas, including:
