- Lifelong resident of Shannon community. Married to Pam Jones and they have two children, Clint and Lindsay. Albert spent most of his professional life teaching and coaching at Model, with few years serving as Principal at Armuchee Middle School.

- 4 years starter at Shorter College in baseball with .286 batting average, 20 Homeruns, and 98 runs batted in, career fielding percentage of .948, played on tour Conference championship teams and holds Shorter baseball records with 36 base on balls in a season and 8 runs batted in a single game.

- Coached baseball 12 years 1989-2000 136 wins for a .538 winning percentage.
