McHenry Primary earns second consecutive High Progress Reward School

McHenry Primary has been listed as a "High-Progress School" for the second year in a row by the Georgia Department of Education. The recognition came in a state release of Reward Schools on Tuesday, September 16. A “High-Progress School” is a Title I school that is among the top 10% of Title I schools in the state making the most progress in improving the performance of the “all students” group over three years on statewide assessments. "Achieving Destination Graduation for every child begins with success at the primary school level," commented Dr. Jeff McDaniel, superintendent of Floyd County Schools.
