Pepperell Primary teacher receives PAGE scholarship

Robbie Vincent, a third-grade teacher at Pepperell Primary School, has been announced as the recipient of one of five PAGE Professional Scholarships sponsored by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Foundation. The announcement was issued today in a release from PAGE. The $1,000 scholarships are awarded through the PAGE Foundation to PAGE members pursuing advanced degrees in education who agree to teach in Georgia for three years. Vincent is a resident of Rome, Georgia, and is pursuing an Ed.D. in School Leadership at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee.

Through its sponsorship of Future Educators Association of Georgia (FEA Georgia), Student Professional Association of Georgia Educators (SPAGE) and PAGE Foundation Scholarships, the PAGE Foundation works to recruit capable people to the teaching profession and provide career-long professional learning opportunities for educators. The PAGE Foundation also sponsors academic competitions for students including PAGE STAR (Student Teacher Achievement Recognition), the PAGE Georgia Academic Decathlon (GAD) and the PAGE Academic Bowl for Middle Grades.
