Floyd County Education Center
The school was located in the old Johnson Elementary building that was built in 1950.  The building became available when the new Johnson school building was completed in 2001.  The FCEC location housed the system's Alternative School in the early years but later added the Performance Learning Center (PLC).  The PLC is an alternative route to a diploma for non-traditional students.  In 2013, The Alternative program was moved to the Compass Program on the Coosa High School campus and the PLC was moved to the College and Career Academy Campus.  The facility located on Morrison Campground road was no longer used as a school in the Floyd County system.
