Transportation and Driving Privileges

Floyd County Schools provides bus transportation to the TA for students outside the Coosa District. Please note that riding a bus is a privilege, and FCS is not required to provide this service. Failure to follow bus rules, driver and monitor directions may result in immediate and permanent loss of riding privileges.

Driving Privileges

ParentsGuardians may choose for students to drive to and from the Transitional Academy. Student driving is a privilege which may be suspended or revoked if students do not adhere to TA behavioral expectations or to the following:

- $5 per semester parking fee

- No passengers allowed unless approved by the TA Director

- ALL drivers must provide a copy of :
- valid driver's license
- proof of insurance
- TA driver agreement signed by their parent/guardian.

- Vehicle keys must be turned in to the office upon arrival on campus.  

- Vehicles may be searched at any time.  

- No driver will be permitted to go to his or her vehicle during the school day.
