Coosa High School has lost one of its own. Junior Ashley Brooke Jones, age 16, died in an Atlanta hospital Sunday night following a brief illness. She was in the Junior Class at Coosa High School. She was born in Floyd County, Dec. 22, 1992, a daughter of Tommy Jones and Sheila Cate Jones has a sister, Rebecca Jones. She was a well loved student who seemed to always have a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed by her classmates at Coosa. The Students, Faculty, Administration and Staff of Coosa High School wish to express their condolences to the family of this wonderful young lady.
