-------------------------------------- This class focuses on Advanced Grammar, Rhetorical
readings, and essay writing. -------------------------------------- Will there be a research paper? Yes--there wil be several small
research projects and two large projects-- one each semester.
In the Fall, there will be a research paper. In Spring, we will have our Meet the Authors project. -------------------------------------- Yes. It will be one
of the most challenging classes you will take in high school. However,
you'll learn a great deal, and wil have a chance to
take a test at the end of the course to opt out of a college
class. -------------------------------------- Absolutely-10 points on all major assignments. This indicates the difficulty level of the class. |
