Jacksonville State University
from June 21-24. JSU Head Baseball
Coach Jim Case and his staff led the camp as teams from Georgia, Florida, and
Alabama made the trip to Jacksonville. The JSU staff led instructional sessions
for the players as well as taking time to individually assess the players strengths and weaknesses. The teams attending also played several
games during their time at JSU, the Coosa Eagles finished the camp with two wins and three
losses in five games. Coach Shank was
very pleased with what he saw from his players and is excited about the 2009
season. “We have a great group of
young men here at Coosa and I’m looking
forward to working with them to develop a first class baseball program,” said
Shank.
