2000 Game Summaries

February 12,  Darlington Jamboree.. Hector Navaratte scores one goal and Cody Dake has 24 saves on the day.

February 21, Trion    Coosa 7, Trion 2    Coosa defeated Trion 7-2 at Trion.

Hector Navaratte scored in the 6 min on an assist from william navaratte.Herrick Kroeger scored off of an assist from Luke Waters in the 18th Min.Trion scored, Jeremiah Atkins in the 20 min.Hector Navaratte scored in the 22 minute an unassisted goal.Hector Navaratte scored of an assist from William Navaratte in the 38th min.Trion Scored a penalty kick in the 51st Minute. Hector Navaratte scored off a corner kick in the 63rd Min. Hector Navaratte scored a penalty kick in the 69th min.
Saul Limon scored off an assist from Logan McAdams and William Navaratte in the 72nd min.Cody Dake had 12 saves in Goal. Luke Waters had 1 save.  Stephen Perry, Ben Robinson, Brack Hassle, W.D. Mackey  and Jose Galvan played excellent defense.

March 2, 2000    Coosa 9, Chattooga 1

Herrick Kroeger scored two goals on the day with seven other players also tallying one goal apeice.  William Navaratte, Cory McAdams, Logan McAdams, Saul Limon, Stephen Perry, Jose Galvan and Hector Navaratte all scored one goal apeice.  Hector Navaratte had three assists, Saul Limon one, Logan Mcadams two assists.  Cody Dake had three saves in goal while Luke Waters had two.

March 4 2000      Coosa 13, Trion 1

Herrick Kroeger, William Navaratte, and Hector Navaratte all scored a hat trick with three goals apiece while while Saul Limon and Cory Mcadams each netted two. Cody Dake had 4 saves in goal while Luke Waters netted 5.

March 7, 2000      Coosa 2, Villa Rica 1

Logan McAdams had two assists, one to Herrick Kroeger and the other to Saul Limon while Cody Dake unfortunately had to make 24 saves.  Josh Richie from Villa Rica scored their goal with approx. 30 seconds remaining in the game to stop the shutout.

March 10, 2000  Lafayette 8, Coosa 3

After leading 3-1, Coosa eventually fell to Lafayette 8-3 at Lafayette.  Saul Limon had two goals while Hector Navaratte had 1.  Cody Dake and William Navaratte had the assists.  Dake had 9 saves, Waters recorded 5 saves.

March 21, 2000 Carrollton 3, Coosa 2

Hector Navaratte scored two unassisted goals as Carrollton came from behind and beat Coosa 3-2 in Carrollton.  Cody Dake had 9 saves in goal.

March 23, 2000 Calhoun 8, Coosa 1

Hector Navaratte scored the eagles only goal on an inderct kick while Cody Dake had 7 saves and Luke Waters tallied 8.

March 24, 2000  Coosa 4, Ridgeland 1

Coosa advances to the Championship game of the Lafayette Tournament after defeating Ridgeland. Saul Limon pulled a hat trick with assists from Hector Navaratte, Herrick Kroeger, and Logan McAdams.  Herrick Kroeger scored the Eagles fourth goal off an assist from Cory McAdams.  Cody Dake had 7 saves while Luke Waters tallied 5.

March 25, 2000 Lafayette 3, Coosa 0

Lafayette tallied 3 goals to win the Lafayette Tournament Championship while Coosa finished 2nd.  Cody Dake had 13 saves in goal.  Herrick Kroeger and Saul Limon were part of the All Tournament team.

March 30, 2000 Coosa 3, Central of Carrollton 1

Saul Limon, Hector Navaratte, and Herrick Kroeger each netted one goal each with assists coming from Limon, Jose Galvan, and Kroeger.  Luke Waters had a shut out first half with 6 saves while Cody Dake netted 8 saves.

April 1, 2000  Westover 5, Coosa 1

AAA Westover played an excellent game and defeated Coosa 5-1.   Logan McAdams scored Coosa's lone  goal in the 3rd minute off a Saul Limon assist.

April 4, 2000 Cartersville 3, Coosa 0

A 0-0 tie carried through the 72nd minute but Cartersville eventually scored 3 in the remaing 18 minutes.  Cody Dake had 12 saves for the Eagles.

April 15, 2000 Darlington 5, Coosa 0

Halftime score, 1-0 .   Dake had 15 saves in goal.

April 17, 2000 Coosa 6, Central 0

Hector Navaratte scored two goals, his 15th and 16th to break the school scoring record.  Cory McAdams & Logan McAdams each scored one goal while Herrick Kroeger had 2 goals.  Saul Limon had two assists with Hector Navaratte having one assist.  Cody Dake had 6 saves.  Luke Waters had seven saves.  The Eagles finished the season 7-7.
