The Coosa High School Goal team is under the leadership of Coach Robert Cummings. They have a very competitive schedule on a variety of courses. The team is well balanced with Upper Classmen and Under Classmen. No team picture was available at the time of print however the team members are pictured above. The Golf team explemifies the meaning of: "Turn up the Heat".

Coosa’s Brad Owens, who trailed Burkhalter by two strokes after Tuesday’s opening round, finished second overall with a 90 after carding a 48 Thursday.

Coosa’s Brad Owens watches his tee shot during Thursday’s Invitational round. The Dragons, who led Coosa by 10 strokes heading into the final round, combined for a 188 on Thursday to finish at 368 and cruise to a 20-stroke advantage over Coosa. Also scoring for Coosa, which took second with a 388, were Cody Powell, who had a team-low round of 44, Cody Hurler (51) and Luke Kines (55).
