Keyboarding Class

Mr. Ellison

Students will become knowledgeable of the touch-typing system upon leaving my class. Students will also gain valuable knowledge about word processing, basic computer parts, and presentation skills.

7^th Grade: Keyboarding/Word Processing

8^th Grade: Keyboarding/PowerPoint

Grades:

6^th Grade: Typing Test/Daily Drills/Basic Computer parts test

7^th Grade: Keyboarding Test/Daily Drills/Basic Computer parts test/ Word Processing assignments and test

8^th Grade: Keyboarding Test/Daily Drills/Basic Computer parts test/PowerPoint assignments and test

All assignments, drills, and test are weighted equally.

Grading Breakdown:

Keyboarding Test

A= 100

B = 89

C = 79

Lowest keyboarding grade will be dropped.

Daily Assignments/Drills

Only completed work is accepted. Completed work will earn a grade of 100.

Basic Computer/Word Processing/PowerPoint Test

Test will be worth 100pts. Grade distribution will follow Pepperell Middle School grade distribution guidelines.
