The undefeated Model Lady Blue Devils have advanced to the basketball championship game for class AA!  The 31-0 Model girls will seek perfection for their season as they take on Buford in the title game at the Macon Centreplex on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.  Model defeated Henry County 63 -50 in the semi-final game held on Thursday in Macon. 

This will not be the first appearance in a title game for the storied Model Lady Devils basketball program.  Model last played in the final four in 1997 when current coach Sally Echols was a player.  The Model Lady Devils are ranked No. 2 in the state and seek to move to the top spot on Saturday.  The game will be televised live by Georgia Public Broadcasting.  Coosa High School students will be working with the GPB broadcasting crew to bring the game to Blue Devil fans in the area unable to make it to Macon.
