Kathy Cox, Georgia Superintendent of Schools, will visit Cave Spring Elementary on Monday, March 3, 2008. Superintendent Cox is scheduled to arrive at Cave Spring Elementary at 9:15 a.m. and stay at the school until 11:15 a.m.  Cave Spring is looking forward to hosting the state official.  “We are excited,” said, Susan Childers, principal of Cave Spring Elementary.  “Superintendent Cox will visit in the classrooms and read to a group of children as a part of Read Across America Day.”   

The students and staff are turning the school into Who-spring or Cave-whoville for the special day of reading.  The school transformation is a tribute to Dr. Seuss for Read Across America Day.
