Ken Sparks, the highly successful head football coach at Carson-Newman College will be addressing the senior class of Pepperell High School at their baccalaureate service on Wednesday, May 23 at 6:30 p.m.  The baccalaureate service will be held in the auditorium on the Pepperell High campus.  A respected and well-known coach and speaker, Sparks has been head football coach at Carson Newman College for 27 years and ranks fourth in total wins among active coaches in college football.

Coach Sparks is one of the most sought-after speakers in the nation.  He delivers speeches to numerous coaches’ clinics, church groups, and school groups each year.  Sparks currently is President of the American Football Coaches Association, a professional organization with 10,000 members.  He is a member of the Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame, Carson-Newman Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
